Six of the Heels' nine starters hit .333 or higher over the weekend led by junior Danny Serretti, who batted .583 (7-for-12) and slugged 1.000 [percent] with a double and two triples. The Camels rank 10th in the country in total home runs with 61 and have scored 83 more runs than their opponents. Zach Neto ranks third in the Big South in hitting with a .361 batting average, tops on the team. CU has six players with 20 or more RBIs with Drake Peterson and Jarrod Belbin leading the way with 32 apiece.

HEELS POWERING UP
North Carolina has hit multiple home runs in each of the past four games and seven of the last nine. The Heels hit eight total big flies against Georgia Tech over the weekend, scoring 14 runs off the long ball. Horvath homered in each of the first two games and Honeycutt in each of the last two. Madej and Hunter Stokely each hit their first homers of the season Friday, while Angel Zarate went deep for the first time since his first at-bat of the year.

10 AND 20
Honeycutt is the only player in NCAA Division I with 10 home runs and 20 stolen bases this season. He leads the ACC in stolen bases with 22, 11th-most in Division I and second-most among all DI freshmen. Honeycutt is one of only eight players in school history to have 10 home runs and 20 stolen bases in a single season.

SERRETTI SURGING
Serretti is hitting nearly 100 points higher this season (.345) than he did in 2021 (.249). Over the last 15 games he is batting .400 with three home runs and 15 RBIs with a .667 slugging percentage and .507 on-base percentage. He has 47 career doubles and needs three to become the 10th player in school history with 50.

HORVATH HOMERS IN FOUR STRAIGHT
Horvath match Heels' Super Regional Era (since 1999) record for most consecutive games with a home run by going deep in four straight games from April 10 – 16. He homered in the finale of the Louisville series, against North Carolina A&T a week ago and in each of the first two game of this past weekend's series against Georgia Tech. He is tied for third on the team in home runs with eight and fourth in RBIs (23). He has more runs, hits, doubles, home runs, RBIs and walks through 36 games this season than he did in 46 total games as a freshman last season.
