The 54-hole event will feature a 15-team field at the par-71, 7,317-yard layout. The field will play 36 holes on Friday followed by Saturday's final round.
The second-ranked Cowboys will be looking for their fourth win of the year. Two of OSU's wins have come this spring and the Pokes enter play after a runner-up showing in their last outing at the Haskins Award Invitational.
Anders Hultman is the most recent OSU medalist at the Thunderbird, taking top honors in 2001. He is joined by Michael Bradley (1988), Willie Wood (1983) and Lindy Miller (1977) as Cowboys to win the individual title.
OSU won the team title in 1988, 1983, 1977 and 1974.
Head coach Alan Bratton's squad finished third a year ago at the event.
For the Cowboys, the starting five will consist of seniors Eugenio Chacarra, Aman Gupta and Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen as well as junior Brian Stark and sophomore Bo Jin.
Four Pokes will be in the field individually with senior Leo Oyo, juniors Dillon Stewart and Rayhan Thomas and sophomore Jonas Baumgartner all competing.
Play will get underway at 7 a.m. (MST) with live scoring being available at golfstat.com.
