MALIBU, Calif. - Brown men's water polo fell to No. 9 Pepperdine 20-5 on Sunday (Sept. 18) to close out its weekend in California. Five different Bears scored in the game against the Waves.
Cole Atwell scored for the Bears in the first quarter but Brown lost the first eight minutes 7-1. In an early hole, Brown got goals from Daniel Hadar and Maxwell Patterson in the second but the Bears were down by six at the break.
Pepperdine won the third quarter 8-2 to extend its lead. Brown's goals in the third came from Filip Aleksic and Gabe Chang.
UP NEXT
Brown will be off next weekend before beginning NWPC conference play on the road at St. Francis Brooklyn and Princeton on October 1.
