Syracuse, N.Y. — A state appellate court has rejected the Columbus Monument Corp.’s request to rehear its argument against the city’s plans to remove the controversial statue.
The appellate division also denied the group’s efforts to kick their argument — essentially to block the city’s planning effort to bring down the statue — up to the state’s highest court.
