HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – With 2022 Sun Belt Conference Tournament seeding on the line, No. 6 Marshall University men's soccer (9-2-3, 3-1-3 Sun Belt) welcomes the James Madison Dukes (6-6-4, 2-2-3 Sun Belt) on Tuesday night to close out the regular season.

2022 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Seeding
The Thundering Herd anywhere from second to fifth. MU can clinch the two seed with a win over JMU or a draw against JMU and an ODU draw or a win by fewer than 11 goals against Georgia State. With the two seed, Marshall would host the seventh seed on Sunday at Hoops Family Field.
HAVE YOU HEARD?
The Herd is coming off a 1-0 win at Wright State on Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio.
Graduate student goalkeeper Oliver Semmle recorded his fourth shutout of the season as senior Joao Souza scored his sixth goal of the season on assists by freshman Matthew Bell and junior Adam Aoumaich.
Semmle's four shutouts rank second in the SBC while Aoumaich now has seven assists on the season to rank second in the conference in the category.
Redshirt senior Milo Yosef and Bell are tied for the Sun Belt lead with eight goals as each are tied for second with 19 points this season.
Semmle ranks first in goals against average in the league at .800.
The Herd's .790 goals against average ranks 16th nationally.
Marshall has been in the top 25 rankings every week since Oct. 15, 2019.
SCOUTING JMU
The Dukes enter Tuesday having not suffered a loss in their last six contests going 3-0-3 in those six matches.
Goalkeeper Sebastian Conlon 56 saves and .747 save percentage this season, both second best in the Sun Belt.
Cameron Arnold leads his side with five goals and 13 points while being tied for the team lead at three assists with Kevin Larsson.
SERIES HISTORY
James Madison leads the all-time series 3-2, but Marshall took last season's meeting 6-1 in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
