Comedian Jimmy Fallon, host of The Tonight Show, cracked a joke about Birmingham’s Vulcan statue.
As one of his “Thank You Notes” gags, Fallon writes a note to Vulcan, thanking him from his upstretched arm pose.
“Thank you, Vulcan statue, for looking like everyone trying to get service in their friends’ basement,” Fallon said in the bit, which has been airing as a promotional spot in the Birmingham TV market. It apparently has not been aired nationwide.
The “Thank You Notes” segment normally airs on Friday nights during The Tonight Show, which begins at 10:30 p.m.
