For those unversed, the businessman-philanthropist is currently on a trip to India. He also attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s grand pre-wedding event in Gujarat’s Jamnagar with his girlfriend Paula Hurd.
Gates shared a video of his visit to the world’s tallest statue — a 597-foot-tall statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel — and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the invitation. He also thanked Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel for hosting him. The video shows Gates standing in front of the giant statue. As the video progresses, it gives glimpses of the statue from multiple angles. It ends with Gates posing with the statue.

Earlier, Gates surprised the internet as he showed the traditional method of making chai (tea). In his collaboration with Nagpur-based vendor, Dolly Chaiwalla, Gates was seen explaining the process for brewing a cup of chai. Sharing the video, he wrote, “In India, you can find innovation everywhere you turn—even in the preparation of a simple cup of tea!”
