Andrews is the fifth Victorian leader to mark 3000 days in power, behind Sir Rupert Hamer, Sir Albert Dunstan, Sir Henry Bolte, John Cain Jr, who have all been memorialised with bronze statues at Treasury Gardens in Melbourne CBD.
Andrews is also now eligible for a similar memorial, according to a policy introduced by the Kennett Government in the 1990s.
Today marks his 3000th day in office after he was sworn in as Premier on December 4, 2014.
But he has told media he has not given the milestone much thought and is not planning to celebrate it.
Andrews would not be involved in any commissioning of a statue. Any statue of a long serving premier is the responsibility for the consideration of government after the premier has left office.
