Rachel Glenn (high jump), Destinee Rocker (100-meter hurdles) and the women's 4X400-meter relay team all grabbed First Team All-America honors on Saturday.
The Gamecock women put up 11 team points, which put them in a tie for 23rd in the team race.
Head coach Curtis Frye said he can step back and see the positives and negatives from the Gamecocks' efforts on Saturday.
"The great thing was having two seniors lead off the 4X400-meter relay with great splits," Frye said. "Makenzie probably had one of the four best splits in that race. Stephanie ran a fifty-point (50.) leadoff leg and then we had a sophomore and freshman hang in there.
"Not seeing Rachel win the national championship is tough. But it's tough to win a national championship back-to-back. She's very frustrated by that, but there's a high and a low. Then Destinee ran her first ever NCAA final and became a First Team All-American. To see that many kids be All-Americans was phenomenal and we took 23rd as a team."
Glenn took third overall in the high jump, marking her fourth top-three finish at an NCAA Championship meet in the high jump. The sophomore cleared 1.86m/6-1.25 to take home a bronze medal. The First Team All-America honor from Saturday's high jump is her sixth through two years of competition.
Rocker finished eighth overall in the 100-meter hurdles' final. The First Team All-America honor marks the first in her career. Rocker ran her first ever NCAA final and finished with a time of 13.07 for eighth place.
The women's 4X400-meter relay team of Stephanie Davis, Makenzie Dunmore, Angel Frank and Jahnile Registre finished fifth overall with a time of 3:25.78. It's the second time the season the Gamecock 4X400-meter relay team has finished fifth at an NCAA Championship meet. The same squad that ran Saturday for South Carolina set the school record back in May and added First Team All-America honors to their resume.
In the individual 400 meters, Dunmore took ninth with a time of 54.73. Dunmore earned Second Team-All-America honors for the ninth-place finish.
The women's 4X100-meter relay team of Jayla Jamison, Dunmore, Frank and Tierra Frasier were disqualified for passing the baton outside of the zone.
"I'm excited and hopeful for what's to come," Frye said.
The Gamecock women's performances Saturday closed out the collegiate track and field season. The Gamecocks will have representatives at the U20 U.S. Championships and select athletes and alumni are set to compete at the U.S. Championships, which also serve as the qualification system for the World Athletics Championships later this summer.
