MCLEAN COUNTY (HOI) - The McLean County Fairgrounds will be closing its COVID-19 testing site next month.
The site has been operating since May of 2020, but will close indefinitely on July 31.
In the meantime, it will remain open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
"The state has decided, with the decreased testing numbers and site utilization, that Bloomington will be closing its site indefinitely, effective July 31, 2021... At this present time, the site will still be available to the public on the current schedule."

During its busiest time in the Fall of 2020, the site saw nearly 1,300 people tested daily.
